Book Week - Secondary Level

Picture
Overview
Focus: Teamwork, communication, solving mysteries! Escape room style challenges themed around a mysterious place, a tricky situation and classic Agatha Christie mystery!

Grade: 7-10

Duration: 1 hour

Max Numbers: 30 students per session

Lesson Highlights:

Students will work in groups and compete to be first to finish 3 escape room style challenges, each with increasing difficulty. They must use communication, teamwork and their brain(!) to outwit each challenge and solve the mysteries.

The first challenge is set inside an Egyptian pyramid, the second, they must escape an arctic prison to prevent a global catastrophe. And thirdly, the most difficult, look for clues inside Agatha Christies house
to solve her mystery, using (and gaining) knowledge of the literary genre that made her famous.

Time permitting, students will have some VR Appreciation time at the end, with some free choice videos.
