Lesson Highlights:
We first discuss the importance of insects in our environment and follow up by examining a few 3D specimens with our holographic cubes to discover their important jobs and hidden talents!
As a group, we venture into a virtual garden and search for mini beasts from an ants perspective. Students will identify different bugs and consider what their role might be.
Lastly, we discuss how human activity can affect ecosystems and how we can care for our environment and it's wildlife by simply changing our actions.
Time permitting, we give students some 'nature appreciation' time with some free-choice 360 degree videos.
