Lesson Highlights: 

Find out why Earth is like a boiled egg! We take a look at plate tectonics and how plate movement can have dramatic consequences.

Students will quite literally travel through the crust and mantle down to the Earths core to see what it's like down there. We consider what these layers are made from and how dynamic our planet is.

We also observe the rock cycle and discover how earthquakes happen. Followed by some group discussion about mitigation measures for Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, and how communities are kept safe.

And as always, time permitting, some Earth appreciation time with free choice videos!
