Overview
Focus:
Astronaut for a day! Launch into space and see what it's like to be on the Moon and how astronauts live on the International Space Station!
Grade:
All (OSHC)
Duration:
1 hour
Max Numbers:
30 students per session
Lesson Highlights:
We experience all the stages of getting to the Moon, from Mission Control, to lift off and walking on the Moon's surface.
Students will then play a space themed
game of "What am I?", follwed by a stretch break and an all-time favourite game of space charades.
Our last adventure of the day, see's us exploring the ISS! Looking for clues on how astronauts live there and how they undertake important research.
As always, time permitting, students will have some Nature Appreciation time at the end, with some free choice videos.
