Focus: What lives at the bottom of the ocean? And how do creatures survive there? (adaptations, ocean zones, extreme environments) Duration: 1 hour
Max Numbers: 30 students per session
Lesson Highlights: We explore the different depth layers of the ocean and examine the creatures that can be found in each layer.
Students will discover some of the amazing features that marine creatures utilise to survive harsh conditions such as extreme temperatures, pressure and total darkness.
We will discuss the importance and role of all ocean animals and as a group, we will suggest possible solutions to existing conservation issues. Including positive steps we can take to prevent further environmental damage (living sustainably).
